MSB Participates in GNO Science & Engineering Fair (GNOSEF)

NEW ORLEANS一(March 2, 2018)一Engineering consultancy MSB Consulting Engineers took part in the 62nd-annual Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair (GNOSEF) at Tulane University, sponsoring the Senior Division investigative projects category in the field of Electrical Engineering.

The GNOSEF hosted 350 students in the Region IX parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and Plaquemines. Entrants fall into two divisions: the Junior Division, comprised of 6th- through 8th-grade students, and the Senior Division, comprised of students in grades 9-12.

One of the oldest such fairs in the nation, GNOSEF awards more than $60,000 in cash and prizes and aims to encourage youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers. GNOSEF winners are eligible to compete for state honors at the Louisiana Science and Engineering Fair held at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
